  • Engine: Yanmar (100HP – anno 2000 – 1540h)
  • 6 single bunks
  • last things done on board are:
    – new batteries (domestic and engine)
    – new navigation lights at the bow
    – fuel tanks cleaned
    – engine fuel pump revised and 4 new fuel injectors
    – new anodes
    – clean hull
    – also already have new anti-fouling paint

Latest restoration

  • During the latest refit, which lasted for over 7 months, these are the most important items done (not extensive):
  • changing most thru-hull fittings
  • checking of engine (including cleaning of turbo, …)
  • new transmission axe and new propeller
  • stripping of both masts, repairing and revarnishing (9 layers)
  • replacing/repairing rotton planks (inside and outside)
  • recaulking the deck
  • new electronics
  • new anodes
  • new bedding of day tank + cleaning of day tank
  • stripping all varnish and revarnishing
  • new standing rigging
  • new fridge compressor

Electronics

  • Simrad chartplotter/GPS including Mega Wide C-MAP MAX charts of West European coasts (2011)
  • Simrad broadband radar – low power comsumption and instant on (2011)
  • Simrad autopilot (2011)
  • Simrad AIS transponder (2011)
  • Mc Murdo EPIRB with built-in GPS (2011)
  • Actisense NMEA multiplexer – to have all instruments exchange data + connect PC (2011)
  • Icom M505 DSC VHF radio (2011)
  • ICS/Mc Murdo NAV-6+ navtex (date unknown but functionnal) with active antenna (2011)
  • Furuno weatherfax/Navtex DFAX-208 (date unknown but fonctionnal)

Information

  • liferaft (needs revision)
  • dinghy (medium state – might need a refreshment, but is usuable)
  • 5HP Johnson outboard (checked and working beginning 2011)
  • new running rigging (most of them – 2011)
  • sails still OK (unknown date)
  • sailset: genoa, jib, main and mizzen sails. Also spinnaker (nylon from 1965 – still usable, but only in light weather) and 2 ‘inter-mast’ sails (from 1964 and 1965). All sails were checked and repaired beginning 2011.
  • the boat is fully fonctionnal (we still use it). We sell it because of a change of program…
  • We started to revarnish/refresh the interior.
  • Some spots on the exterior varnish have to be redone…
